SLIDESHOW: Pedestrians Take Over Newbury Street

The city closed Newbury Street to traffic Sunday, and Boston took full advantage of the open pavement.

Despite highs in the uppers 80s, hundreds descended on the store-lined street for shopping, dining, and to see the many musicians and other street performers showing off their skills.

Patch snapped photos of DJs, game-players, dancers, musicians, and of the many creative street setups Newbury Street retailers came up with.
