Temporary Water Shutdown Overnight Monday on Newbury

The contractor will install a new water gate at the intersection of Exeter and Newbury streets.

The following is a press release from the Boston Water and Sewer Commission:

Please be advised that BWSC’s contractor for the project must install a new water gate at the intersection of Exeter Street and Newbury Street. The work will require a temporary water shutdown. It will be completed during the overnight hours of 12:00 AM to 5:00 AM on Tuesday, June 26, 2012.

The resident inspector has met with all affected buildings to coordinate the timing of the work. If you have not received an individual visit by the resident inspector or been notified by your building owner or management company, you should not be affected by the water interruption.
