Traffic Guide: Boston Pride Parade

Celebrate love, and also don't let your car get towed.

Boston, MA - The city estimates some 35,000 people will gather on in Back Bay for this year's Boston Pride Parade.

If you want to join the celebration - or just happen to live in the neighborhood - here's what you need to know when driving and parking:

Participants in this year's parade plan to gather around noon at Boylston Street, between Dalton and Clarendon Streets.

From there, they'll walk down: Tremont Street, Berkeley Street, Boylston Street, Charles Street, Beacon Street, Tremont Street and then from Cambridge Street onto City Hall Plaza. Streets along that route will be close to traffic until about 4 p.m., the city said. 

There will also be temporary "Tow Zone No Stopping Saturday" parking restrictions on:

  • Boylston Street, both sides, from Massachusetts Avenue to Tremont Street
  • Exeter Street, both sides, from Newbury Street to St. James Avenue
  • Dartmouth Street, both sides, from Newbury Street to St. James Avenue

  • Fairfield Street, both sides, from Boylston Street to Newbury Street
  • Clarendon Street, both sides, from Newbury Street to Tremont Street

  • Charles Street South, both sides, from Park Plaza to Boylston Street
  • Charles Street, both sides, from Boylston Street to Beacon Street
  • Beacon Street, both sides, from Charles Street to Tremont Street
  • Tremont Street, both sides, from Cambridge Street to Beacon Street
  • Court Street, both sides, from Washington Street to Cambridge Street
  • Cambridge Street, City Hall Plaza side, from Somerset Street to Court Street, and east side, from Sudbury Street to New Chardon Street
  • New Chardon Street, both sides, from Cambridge Street to Congress Street
