Water Shutdown on Newbury Rescheulded for Thursday
The contractor can't work today due to the weather, and the water gate will be installed overnight Wednesday into Thursday.

The following is a press release on behalf of the Boston Water and Sewer Commission:
The temporary water shutdown planned for overnight tonight has been canceled. The contractor cannot work today due to inclement weather.
The shutdown has been rescheduled for Thursday, June 28 from 12:00 AM to 5:00 AM to minimize impacts to abutters when the new water gate is installed. The work will take place at the intersection of Newbury Street and Exeter Street.

The resident inspector has met with affected buildings to discuss the work. If you have not received an individual visit by the resident inspector or been notified by your building owner or management company, you should not be affected by the water interruption.
