Boston Mayor Campaigns for Hillary Clinton in Pennsylvania
The Clinton campaign is deploying Marty Walsh to rally Pittsburgh.
PITTSBURGH, PA — Mayor Marty Walsh is shipping out to Pittsburgh Saturday to campaign on behalf of the Hillary Clinton campaign.
Walsh is scheduled to meet with his Pittsburgh counterpart, Mayor William Peduto, for a breakfast at Ritter's Diner to discuss the election with voters. Then, per a press release, he'll join LiUNA General President, Terry O’Sullivan to kick off a labor walk with hundreds of LiUNA members.
His swing state appearance follows Walsh's national debut during the Democratic National Convention this summer in Philadelphia. There, he offered support for Clinton bolstered by his personal narrative as a recovering alcoholic and proud product of the labor movement.
