If you're an American history buff, a bar named after Carrie Nation might sound a little odd. As noted on their website, the business takes its name from Nation, who was "a radical member of the temperance movement in Pre-Prohibition America." She was well-known for busting apart bars using a hatchet and was arrested over 30 times.
According to Boston.com, Carrie Nation Cocktail Club plans to be open for breakfast, lunch afternoon tea and dinner starting Thursday.
