Elizabeth Warren 2020? The Buzz Has Begun
It's like a Twitter battle, but in real life: Donald Trump versus Elizabeth Warren.
Hillary Clinton is out, Donald Trump is in and Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren's name is already on liberals' lips and sneaking into tweets of stunned and bereaved Democrats in the fallout from Election Day.
"Warren 2020"... It's already a hashtag.

Less than 12 hours after Trump's victory speech, the hashtag has already become a refuge, a rallying cry and a source of hope on a morning that feels decidedly bleak for many Clinton supporters.

Warren was on the vice presidential shortlist for 2016, pressured the Clinton campaign on policy and effectively wielded Twitter and campaign rallies to attack Trump with language and fervor the candidate herself largely eschewed.
But before she gets to 2020, Warren will have to spend four years squaring off against Trump from within the confines of a Senate minority. That and, no doubt, flinging insults on Twitter.
She will also have to survive reelection in her own state, potentially facing off against former baseball star turned commentator Curt Schilling, who has been derided as "Trump Lite."
But even as social media filled with calls for Warren to run and "#Warren2020" ballooned bigger, the senator herself waited to weigh in on her party's defeat. In fact, for hours after Trump's win, Warren issued nary a tweet.
