Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders Team Up in Denver: Watch
A liberal Democrat's dream come true?
DENVER, CO — Democrats who voted Bernie Sanders or rallied behind the "Elizabeth Warren for VP" possibility may have found some solace Sunday, as the two far-left forces collided in Denver.
Together, Hillary Clinton's formal rival and somewhat belated endorser came together to stoke support for Democrats' nominee. The Massachusetts Senator did so by tying Clinton's ascendancy to the advancement of agenda items more commonly associated with herself and Sanders.
"To every person who 'felt the Bern' during during the primary, America and the Democratic Party know the power and energy of the progressive movement," Warren said, pausing every few words to be drowned out by cheers.

She opened:
"Let me say this loud and strong: in this election, I am proud to be a Democrat. I am proud of the debate that Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton had in our primary — way to go. I am proud that we are a party that doesn't debate who has the smallest hands, or who can building the longest, tallest, fake gold-plated wall in the world. I'm proud that we are not looking for the most obscene way to demean women. I'm proud that Democrats spend our time working on how we can build a future for all of our people. And now, thanks to Bernie Sanders, we have the most progressive Democratic platform in American history. And you know what? We're here to fight for that platform. You bet."
It is the first time Warren and Sanders have campaigned for Clinton side-by-side.

The last time they shared a stage was at the Democratic National Convention, where some attendees chanted the words "We trusted you," over Warren's nationally televised speech.

After much speculation, Clinton's eventual decision to pass over Warren in favor of Tim Kaine for vice president felt like a snub to many Sanders supporters seeking a consolation prize. Sanders himself said at the time he would have preferred his liberal Senate comrade in the VP slot.
Warren on Sunday sought to cast a Clinton presidency as a means of advancing those disappointed constituents' key interests.
"Our agenda is a progressive agenda," she said. "Our agenda is a Colorado agenda. Our agenda is an American agenda. And that is why Bernie Sanders and I are here today."
Sanders will be holding a second get-out-the-vote rally Monday afternoon in Fort Collins, Colorado.
