Elizabeth Warren to Campaign for Katie McGinty in Pennsylvania

From Bay State to Keystone State.

Mass. Sen. Elizabeth Warren hasn't yet been seen again alongside presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, but she's been deployed to help campaign for another race considered key to the Democratic National Party.

The Philadelphia Inquirer reports Warren will campaign for U.S. Senate candidate Katie McGinty in Pennsylvania on Sept. 9, at the University of Pennsylvania's Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology.

Beloved by many in the party's more liberal wing, the paper's website reports that Warren will be "lending her star power to a race that could be critical to determining control of the Senate."

The target is Pennsylvania Republican Sen. Pat Toomey.

The paper's site reports that McGinty's camp has sought to connect its candidate to Warren's populist message, while Toomey's people retorted, “It’s no surprise that Katie McGinty is wrapping herself around every far left politician in America."
