Even Scott Brown Thinks Hillary Clinton Won the First Debate

That can't be a good sign for Donald Trump.

You know it's a tough time to be Donald Trump when even an avowed Hillary Clinton opponent like former Massachusetts GOP senator Scott Brown thinks she won the first debate — if only by a little.

"My analysis of the last debate was singles and doubles, no home runs, no big mistake by anybody,” Brown said on Boston Herald Radio Tuesday. “Trump was a B-, B, Clinton a B, B+, she won by a hair, maybe a bit more.”

According to Brown, it comes down to debate prep, or the widely noted lack thereof, in Trump's case.

Asked on Herald radio whether he Trump should follow running mate Mike Pence's intensive approach to pre-debate preparation, Brown said "I certainly hope so.”

“I and others have suggested to Donald he handle things a certain way," he said.
