Local Bistro Introduces '5-4' Cocktail to Celebrate DOMA Decision

The Beacon Hill Hotel & Bistro has created a new cocktail to celebrate the U.S. Supreme Court's decision to strike down the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA).

The high court's decision was a split 5-4 ruling which strikes down the law that has been on the books since the mid-90s.

On their Facebook page, the Beacon Hill Hotel & Bistro on Charles Street announced their new cocktail, "5-4" which they said was "dade w/ a 5-4 ingredient ratio but equal love."

In the comments on the picture they posted, the hotel said the drink has five parts Absolut Mandarin, one part Sprite, one part cranberry juice, one part sparkling wine and one part orange juice.
