1. PUBLIC GARDEN: The City of Boston announced readers using the website TripAdvisor have just ranked the top 10 public parks in the United States and the Public Garden has been ranked 7th. We've got more here.

4. THIS DAY IN HISTORY: On this day in 1953, workers at a Chevrolet plant in Flint, Michigan, assemble the first Corvette, a two-seater sports car that would become an American icon.
