Public Garden Ranked in Top 10 U.S. Parks by TripAdvisor
Readers of the website called the park "a gorgeous setting" among other accolades.

Readers of the website TripAdvisor have ranked the Boston Public Garden the 7th-best public park in the nation, according to a Thursday release from the city.
The city listed the following comments from people who participated in the survey:
• “a gorgeous setting”
• “very well-landscaped and maintained”
• “very pretty to walk through for a leisurely stroll with friends”
• “a beautiful place to sit, relax, reflect or just people watch. The grounds are impeccably kept.”
I’ve often seen people who look like they are entering the property for the first time and it is obvious that they soon are overwhelmed with the beauty of the landscape,” Mayor Thomas Menino said in the statement. “The Public Garden draws people in because of its many pretty features, the willow trees around the lagoon, the swan boats gliding across the water, the lovely flowers in bloom, and the many shaded areas where a person can sit and feel removed from the rush of the city around the park.”
