High School Tours For New Students Wednesday

Upper classmen will bring new pupils and parents around the building starting at 6 p.m.

On Wednesday, Aug. 25, new high school students and their parents or guardians are invited to take a tour of Belmont High School through the PTO Class Connectors program.

This will be a good time for new students, both incoming freshmen and transfer students, to learn the layout of the building, ask questions about the high school and find the location of their homeroom.

The tours, given by current upper-class students, will start from the high school cafeteria. New students and their families should plan to arrive in the cafeteria anytime between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. to take a tour.

However, so that we are not overly congested at 6 p.m., it is kindly suggested that families with student last names beginning with A to M plan to arrive between 6 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., and N to Z between 6:30 to 7 p.m., however this is optional.

Along with the tour, the students will view an introductory video and listen to a panel presentation by High School administrators, teachers, counselors and students. The panel presentation for both parents and guardians and new students will begin at 7:15 p.m. in the auditorium.
