Roadwork Closes Trapelo Inbound at Cushing Sq.

The main road from Waverley Square to Cambridge and Harvard Square has been closed today, Aug. 16, during the the town's water main replacement and repair work.

Trapelo Road inbound to Cambridge from Common Street, the heart of Cushing Square, to Willow Street has been closed as workers are replacing water pipes near Willow.

Vehicles entering the Common Street, Trapelo Road intersection inbound are being directed to continue on Common either towards Belmont Street or Washington Street. 

Town officials say that work along Trapelo will begin from Walnut Street to Oakley Road this week as the work continues its slow trek towards the Cambridge line.
