Yummy Sunday: Thank You With Frosting On Top
Yum Bunnies gave away more than 700 cupcakes to customers and residents.
The rain Sunday did not stop a steady stream of friends, customers and residents from coming to Belmont Street's Yum Bunnies Cakery, the custom cake company, to help celebrate three years in Belmont with a free cupcake give away.
With the help of family and friends, owner Jessa Sahakian greeted customers who had several varieties of cupcakes to choose from including red velvet (the clear favorite) and chocolate chocolate.
"We rocked it out," Sahakian told her friend, Jenna Wall, who along with Jessa's mom, Beth, and her mom's best friend, Joan Tanner, spent the four hours the celebration took place behind the counter, giving away baked goods to well over 500 people.

"I have a chocolate problem," said Bobby Giordano, who with his buffed appearance and tattoos was in stark contrast with the multitude of children who came with their parents for an afternoon treat.
It was also an opportunity for a bit of business as a Cambridge restaurant owner wanted to sell Sahakian's cupcakes in her establishment.
