Free Cone Day At Boston Area Ben & Jerry's

BOSTON — There are some made up holidays that make your eyes roll, and then there are made up holidays that make your feet move. Free Cone Day has had feet moving to the nearest Ben & Jerry's to nab a free ice cream cone.

Most of the shops in the state are giving out free ice cream today until 8 p.m., including the four in the Boston area. Still, it's always smart to double check the hours at Ben & Jerry's website.

At 1 p.m. there was a line down the street in the Seaport and folks were looking at a list of specials.
