System Problem Causes Serious Delays At Boston Logan Airport
This morning, hundreds of flights out of Boston Logan were delayed because of a system error.

BOSTON — An error affecting several airlines at Boston Logan International Airport caused delays for hundreds Monday morning. There were more than 240 delays at Logan early, according to Flightaware.
"Earlier this morning, AeroData had a technical issue that impacted a few of our regional carriers. This technical issue has been resolved. We apologize to our customers for the inconvenience," said a spokesperson for American Airlines in an emailed statement.
The glitch didn't affect the entire airport, but Alaska Air, American, Delta, Jet Blue, Southwest and United all of whom use contractor AeroData, had serious delays out of Logan. By noon, the airlines appeared to be back online, though still experiencing residual delays.

Although some reported missing connecting flights, others reported donuts:

This comes a day after an American Airlines flight leaving from Boston hit a flock of geese and was forced to make an emergency landing back at Logan as a precaution.
