2 Roxbury Women Busted for Shoplifting at Plaza

Two Roxbury women were arrested last week after Braintree police found $1,200 of allegedly stolen merchandise on them from stores at the South Shore Plaza.

The women allegedly fled Lord & Taylor on Monday, Dec. 23 with more than $900 worth of merchandise, Chief Russell Jenkins said in a statement. They were caught by police on Lakeside Drive behind the 99 Restaurant.

Officers recovered merchandise from four additional mall stores totaling nearly $300.

Natasha Seaton, 31, and Angela M. Richardson, 22, were both charged with larceny over $250 and four counts of receiving stolen property under $250.
