Braintree Announces Annual Memorial Day Service

From the Town of Braintree:

On May 27 at 11 a.m., we will pause to remember those from Braintree who, during our nation’s history, have given their lives in service. We will make particular remembrance of the twelve Braintree residents who lost their lives 100 years ago this year during the First World War. This will begin a several-month-long observance of this anniversary culminating in an event to be held in their memory on Veterans Day in November.

This event will take place at Blue Hills Cemetery.
