Braintree Artist to be Featured in South Shore Arts Festival

Lori Moretti created one of 70 works that will be in the Juried Exhibition at the South Shore Art Center 58th Annual Arts Festival.

A Braintree artist, who took a 30-year hiatus from painting, will enter her first juried exhibition at the South Shore Art Center 58th Annual Arts Festival on Cohasset Common, June 14 through 16.

Lori Moretti, the principal of a Boston-based marketing agency, created one of 70 works that will be judged in the competition. Moretti's piece, "Homeboy in Venice," is a 9x12 oil painting.

The Juried Exhibition and a Members' Show are part of the Main Exhibition Tent. Kids' art, handmade crafts, food and music will be part of the Father's Day weekend festival.

The festival will be open Friday, June 14, noon to 6 p.m.; Saturday, June 15, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Sunday, June 16, noon to 5 p.m.
