Braintree Challengers Little League Lands $17K Grant From Teamsters

The Teamsters Local 25 Autism Fund recently awarded $400,000 in grants to local organizations.

BRAINTREE, MA — The Braintree Challengers Little League recently received a huge boost in fundraising dollars from Teamsters Local 25.

Through the Teamsters Autism Fund, the little league received a $17,500 donation.

The donation was part of a larger donating run stemming from fundraising done at the 2023 Teamsters Local 25 Gala for Autism.

According to the organization, "the Teamsters Local 25 Autism Fund hosts the largest annual autism fundraiser of its kind in New England, having raised more than $7 million to support autism organizations since it was founded in 2006."

Teamsters Local 25 President Thomas G. Mari explained that the donations are made to organizations that help support families and individuals "affected by autism."

Our mission is to break down the barriers that can prevent people having access to support services, employment and training opportunities, educational resources, and so much more.
