From the Braintree July 4th Celebration Committee:
The Braintree July 4th Celebration Committee Inc, has officially kicked off its fundraising campaign and hopes the business and residents of Braintree will step forward and support the committee’s financial goal for the town’s 45th Annual Braintree Day: July 4th Celebration.
The committee is a charitable 501 ( C ) 3 organization and as such, donations from businesses and individuals may qualify as a tax deduction or business marketing expense. “The committee has been hard at work planning this year’s parade and celebration and is confident that the generous residents and businesses in our community will once again step forward and help us reach our fundraising goal.” committee chairman Sean Powers said. The easiest way residents and businesses can donate directly is by using the reply envelopes in their June BELD bills or online at www.braintrees4th.org. As of recently, the committee is halfway to reaching it’s needed financial amount.
