Braintree Food Establishment Inspection Reports: May 2013
There were 37 health inspections in Braintree in May. Three establishments had critical violations that were resolved upon reinspection.

During the month of May, the Braintree Department of Municipal Licenses and Inspections conducted 37 inspections of establishments in town that serve food. The following is a sampling of violations from those reports.
Marybeth McGrath, director of Department of Municipal Licenses and Inspections, said inspectors are encourages to denote positives at their inspections. The reports below only include "critical" violations.
The reports are as written by Braintree health inspectors and include the date on which the violations were resolved.
Pink Berry Yogurt, May 14
- Separation/Segregation/Protection: Observed bulk foods in restroom. Items to be moved immediately. All product in original container and in boxes. The resolution was verified on May 15.
Bugaboo Creek, April 26
- Food Contact Surfaces Cleaning and Sanitizing: Dishwasher rinse at 140 degrees. Should be at 180 degrees. Ecolab was contacted and will be on site today. Switching to low temperature dishwasher with chlorine sanitizer until part is ready for the high temperature dishwasher next week. While waiting, wares, utensils can be washed then dipped in sanitizing bay of three part sink. Ecolab was onsite that day.
- Equipment and Utensils: Clean and degrease interior of fryolators to remove grease. Issue resolved May 6.
- Awareness: Allergy awareness was not put on recreant menus. Manager is making changes to menus prior to opening on day of inspection. Issue resolved May 6.
