Braintree Man Cited in Hit and Run Pedestrian Accident
The following information was supplied by the Braintree Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

A 71-year-old Braintree woman was struck on Commercial Street last Thursday by a driver who left the scene but was later tracked down by Weymouth police.
The woman was brought to South Shore hospital with non-life threatening injuries to her legs, Chief Russell Jenkins said in a statement. The driver, a 37-year-old Braintree man, was not named because he was cited but not yet charged.
A witness told police the woman was in a crosswalk at the time of the accident. The driver was cited for a crosswalk violation and leaving the scene of a personal injury accident.
