Braintree Police Investigating Overnight Home Break-ins
Three homes were broken into overnight on Sunday, June 2.

The Braintree Police Department is investigating break-ins on West Street, Oak Street and Monatiquot Avenue that were reported on the morning of Monday, June 3. Police believe the same person or persons entered the residences while the homeowners were asleep.
According to Police Chief Russell Jenkins, access to the homes was made through a window, and in most cases, screens were cut. Items taken include handbags, credit cards, cell phones and cash.
Some of the stolen property was found in the backyards of the homes.
"Police will be giving all neighborhoods extra patrol coverage throughout the night and encourage residents to report anything or anyone they believe to be suspicious," said Jenkins.
Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Detective Charles Paris at 781-794-8685.
