More Than 100 Braintree Food Permits Renewed for New Year
Town officials also renewed amusement device, juke box and other licenses last week.

Braintree has 113 businesses that hold food licenses, with nearly 25 percent of those located at the South Shore Plaza.
The 28 licenses held at the Plaza represent a wide range of establishments, from full-service restaurants like the Cheesecake Factory and California Pizza Kitchen, to the arcade/bar/restaurant Dave & Buster's to food court stands such as Cheeseboy and Subway.
All 113 licenses were renewed by the Board of License Commissioners last week. They also include various club organizations (i.e. VFW, Sons of Italy, etc.), seven Dunkin' Donuts, and cafes in other establishments, like Barnes & Noble and Target.
The board also renewed the following:
10 Juke Box Licenses
12 Automatic Amusement Device Licenses
18 Weekly Entertainment Licenses
4 Pool Table Licenses
14 Sunday Entertainment Licenses
1 Exhibit Movies License (AMC Theatre)
1 Lodging House License (Caritas Communities, Inc. on Holbrook Ave.)
