Police Seek Suspect in Bus Stop Robbery
A Jamaica Plain woman was robbed of cash on Monday afternoon while waiting for a bus at the South Shore Plaza.
The Braintree Police Department is seeking information about a white man who snatched money from a 21-year-old Jamaica Plain woman as she was waiting for a bus at the South Shore Plaza.
On Monday afternoon, July 1, the woman told police she was counting her money when a man stole the cash out of her hand and ran up the up the ramp of the nearby parking garage.
Responding officers and Plaza security were unable to find the suspect.
The man was wearing blue shorts, a white t-shirt and a red hat at the time of the robbery.
