The Boston Business Journal is reporting that the developer has reached an agreement to purchase the lot for the buildings from Simon Property Group for $20 million, but there are still hurdles to clear.

Banker & Tradesmen reports that the project will need clearance from both the Braintree Town Council and Planning Board, the latter of which must approve and issue a special permit.
According to Boston.com, rents are estimated to be about $2,100 per month for studios, $2,500 for one-bedrooms and $3,000 for two-bedrooms. This, of course, is based on current market rates, but could change based on when the project actually finishes.
