Two Suspects In Braintree Hotel Murder Due In Court

Kentavious Coleman, 20, and Kenyonte Galmore, 22, are expected in Norfolk Superior Court Monday afternoon.

BRAINTREE, MA — Two of the four suspects in the death of Reina Rodriguez are expected to appear in court Monday.

Kentavious Coleman, 20, and Kenyonte Galmore, 22, have returned to Massachusetts from custody in Mississippi and are due to be arraigned at 2 p.m. in the Norfolk Superior Court, according to the Norfolk County District Attorney's office.

Prosecutors say 19-year-old Rodriguez of Lawrence was found dead, nude from the waist up, and bound with cell phone cables in a hotel room at the Hyatt Place in Braintree on June 22, 2017. It's alleged that she was brought into a sex and robbery operation by Rivera, who told the essentially homeless teen that she could make a lot of money. The two, along with others, ran ads on Backpage.com with the intent of luring clients to hotel rooms to rob them.

It's alleged that Juana Rivera, who was arrested and arranged on murder charges in April, conspired with Coleman and Galmore to rob Rodriguez.

A fourth suspect Jason McLeod, 35, of Mattapan pled not guilty on May 4 to charges of human trafficking and deriving support from prostitution.
