Snuggle Up @ The Library

Burlington Public Library Family Reading Challenge -Jan. 3-Feb. 23
Sponsored by the Burlington Quilt Club. Spend quality family time together reading as a family during the long winter months, and win some great raffle prizes at the same time! Please see the Library's Website for more information and to register.

Mother-Daughter Book Club

Adventure Book Club

This month we are reading “Maze of Bones” by Rick Riordan. Join Mary for book chat, snack, and related challenge. Earn a badge for reading the book! For grades 3 and up—a parent is welcome but not required.

Book Talk
Tuesday, Jan. 10 at 10:30 am
Are you looking for new books or a new author to try? Join Assistant Director, Michael Wick, for a friendly informal gathering of people who like to read. Hear about new books and share what you’ve been reading. All are welcome, and there is no required reading to attend.

Friends Annual Meeting and author program
Monday, Jan. 23 at 7:00pm
Join the Friends of the Library for a brief annual meeting. Learn about their accomplishments over the past year and plans for the upcoming year. Come learn what your membership in the Friends means for the library and its users. If you’re not yet a Friend you can join that night. Also, all new and renewing members from the October Book Sale until the meeting will be eligible to win a raffle prize!

Immediately following the meeting the January adult evening program will begin. Bestselling author, Nathalia Holt, will talk about her book, “Rise of the Rocket Girls." Ms. Holt sheds light on the women who helped transform NASA, taking readers through the revolutionary changes of careers that spanned half a century. Be sure to stay and enjoy this great opportunity.
