Burlington Board Approves $500K For Snow, Ice Removal
The Select Board approved additional funds to deal with winter weather, according to a report.

BURLINGTON, MA — The Select Board has approved a Department of Public Works request for an additional $500,000 for snow and ice removal, The Daily Times Chronicle reported.
Public Works Director Brian White told the board that the department has responded to 10 snow and ice events with a total of accumulation of 25 inches so far this year.
The town initially budgets $350,000 for snow and ice removal, which when combined with the new approved funds will be a total of $850,000.
