Burlington Cancels Meetings Ahead Of Storm
We have all the details on what you need to know to weather Wednesday's storm.

BURLINGTON, MA -- The Burlington Planning Board canceled its planning board scheduled for Wednesday night as a massive storm bears down on the region. The meeting was rescheduled to March 21 at 6 pm in the School Committee Hearing Room at the High School.
It was just the first of what are expected to be dozens of cancellations over the next 48 hours in Massachusetts. The latest forecast called for snow mixed with rain starting late Wednesday morning and continuing into Thursday afternoon. The total snow accumulation -- which had been as high as two feet in parts of Massachusetts -- is expected in the 4-8 inch range, according to forecasters.
The town does not typically declare snow emergencies, as it bans on-street parking between the hours of midnight and 6 am between November 1 and April 1 and at any time when snow or icy conditions are present to make sure it can clear snow from roadways. Vehicles that violate the winter parking ban will be ticketed and towed by the Police Department at the owner's expense.
