Burlington Democratic Town Committee Caucus, Wednesday, May 7, 2025

Burlington DTC announces (in-person Caucus) May 7, 2025 of election for delegates to attend 2025 MA Convention

The Burlington Democratic Town Committee is holding an (in-person only) caucus to elect delegates to the State Democratic Convention on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at Grandview Farms, 2nd Floor Meeting Room. The caucus will elect up to 14 delegates & 4 alternatives. Registration is at 6:30pm with actual caucus activities commencing after 7pm. The Grandview Farms located at (55 Center Street) is handicap accessible.

Registered and pre-registered Democrats in Burlington may vote and be elected as delegates or alternates during the caucus. Youth (ages 16 - 35), people with disabilities, people of color and members of the LGBTQ+ community not elected as delegates or alternates are encouraged to apply to be add-on delegates at the caucus or by visiting: massdems.org.

Burlington residents who intend to run "for delegate" will be registered for the Democratic Party during the caucus registration. We encourage and welcome all.

During the 2025 convention, delegates will adopt a party agenda, convention details are as follows:

When: Saturday, September 13, 2025.

Credentials: Credentials will be mailed to delegates who pay delegate fee on-line. All others will pick up their credentials at the Registration desk on the day of the convention.

Fee: The Delegate fee is $75. Fee for students, seniors and persons with disability is $50. If delegate fee poses a hardship, the DSC has a confidential process for delegates and alternates to request a partial or full fee waiver. The Waiver forms will be available at May 7th caucus or can easily be downloaded by visiting: massdems.org.

If you are interested in being a delegate but cannot attend the in-person caucus, please contact us of your interest. If all available delegate slots for Burlington are not filled, the caucus rules allow us to place your name in nomination as a delegate.

Running for a delegate seat at this caucus is a great way to meet people from your community who share similar values, opportunity to hear state-wide Democratic leaders and take the next steps to getting involved in the Democratic process!
