Burlington Fire Department to Host Open House Saturday

Papa Gino's will sponsor the event by providing free pizza to guests.

Chief Steve Yetman would like to invite the community to attend the Burlington Fire Department’s Open House this weekend.

“This is a great opportunity for residents to come out and meet firefighters while learning about the department and fire safety,” Chief Yetman said. “We look forward to seeing familiar faces and meeting some of our newer community members.”

The event is designed to bring the community to the fire station to meet and mingle with firefighters in a relaxed atmosphere.

Fire officials will have an abundance of handouts for all age groups in town about fire safety, carbon monoxide alarms, exit drills and more.

All the fire trucks (unless on a call) will be out and on display for children to go on and explore. Firefighters will also put on live demonstrations and will be available to answer questions.
