Burlington Firefighters Knock Down Laundry Room Fire: FD

BURLINGTON, MA — A fire in a home near Burlington’s Mill Brook Wetlands and Fox Hill Elementary School drew an emergency response on Tuesday, according to the Burlington Fire Department.

Crews were able to quickly knock down the fire, though, the department continued in updates shared to social media.

This fire broke out off Michael Drive in Burlington in a residence’s laundry room, the fire department said. Crews responded around 8:30 p.m. Within moments, firefighters on scene had extinguished the fire and begun checking for any extension beyond the impacted laundry room, according to the fire department.

No further information was available as of Wednesday morning on the extent of damages or other impacts from this fire.
