Burlington Football Preps For Bedford Thanksgiving Football Game
Burlington will travel to Bedford on Thursday to continue a recently revived Thanksgiving tradition between the schools.
BURLINGTON, MA — The Burlington High School football team will look to end its season on a high note Thursday when it travels to Bedford for its 2022 Thanksgiving football game.
The game will take place at Bedford High School with kickoff at 10 a.m. on Thursday.
Burlington played to a 3-5 finish in the regular season, landing 26th out of 36 teams in MIAA Division 4 Power Rankings.

Bedford finished its regular season with a 7-1 record, earning third place in rankings and marching into the Division 4 State Championship tournament.
Bedford opened the playoffs with a win over South High Community School. The team then fell to Foxborough in the state quarterfinals.

Burlington and Bedford have history as Thanksgiving opponents, playing annually on Thanksgiving between 1957 and 1972, as noted by the Bedford Citizen last fall.
Bedford took the win after the teams rekindled their rivalry last year, beating Burlington 55 - 18.
Tickets for this year’s game will be on sale at the gate at Bedford High School on Thursday. Tickets cost $10.
Burlington fans can save money, though, by buying their tickets in advance at the Burlington High School athletic office. Presale tickets are $5 for students and $7 for adults, as noted by Burlington High School Athletic Director Shaun Hart on Tuesday.
