Sponsorship money will support ongoing efforts by the Mama Bear Effect to get pediatric exam room kits into local pediatrician offices, health clinics, urgent care centers and hospitals. These kits aim to help doctors and other health care professionals increase awareness of child sexual abuse while teaching parents how to discuss body safety with their children.
