Burlington Planning Board Weighs In On Park Overhaul
A proposal to overhaul Overlook Park was before the town's Planning Board recently, according to a report.
BURLINGTON, MA — The Planning Board has approved an initiative to use $2.3 million in federal funding to redesign Overlook Park, according to The Daily Times Chronicle.
The town purchased the park in 1964, and it currently houses a Recreation Department Garage and the Park Playhouse.
The new plans call for making it a high-quality outdoor recreation area by increasing accessibility, improving signage, adding a lower lawn, adding a new playground, among other improvements.
