Here's a look at the library's summer hours, as well as events for both children and teens throughout the summer.

Summer is here and the Burlington Public Library recently released its summer hours, as well as programs for children and teens through the summer months. Here’s a look:
Library Hours
The library will be closed Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4 to celebrate Independence Day.
Summer Hours
The library’s summer hours began with its first closed Sunday on June 21. The schedule through Labor Day is as follows:

- Monday through Thursday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Sunday the library is closed
Upcoming Programs for Children and Teens
- Storytimes - The new storytimes session will begin July 8 and continue through August 11. Visit the library or our website to find the days and times that best match for you and your child.
- Baby Sensory Play: Monday, July 6, 11 a.m. - Sensory and exploring activities for babies who are sitting up.
- Circus Show: Monday, July 6, 2 p.m. - Elevation Ariel and Circus Arts will perform their circus act for all ages.
- Kids’ Theater Games:Tuesdays, July 7, 11 a.m. - Make play into plays! Grades 2-6 Registration required
- Summer Scrabble Club: Tuesdays, July 7 to August 11, 2:30-3:30 p.m. - Learn new words and strategies to improve your game. Beginners welcome! (Grades 4-8)
- Lego Club: Wednesdays, July 8 & August 5, 1 p.m. - We provide the legos, you provide the imagination! Grades K-6
- Preschool Fun and Games: Thursday, July 9, 11 a.m. - Play Feed the Gator, and try to rescue the Beanie Babies!
- Hero Thursday for Teens: Thursday, July 9, 2:30-4 p.m. - This week its British Invasion. Come Celebrate British TV heroes!
- Comic Art Classes: Friday, July 10 - Artist, Kristine Brock, will teach comic and manga art. Grades K-4 at 2pm; Grades 5-9 at 3:15 p.m.
- Teen Survey - Calling all teens, there’s still time to tell us what you think. Please take a few minutes and fill out the survey on our website or in the library.
