Burlington Restaurant/Bar To Hold Taylor Swift Night Next Month

BURLINGTON, MA — If you are a Swiftie who does not have tickets to Taylor Swift's May 19 Eras Tour show at Gillette Stadium, one local restaurant/bar has created an event just for you.

From 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. that evening, Karma Asian Fusion at the Burlington Mall, 75 Middlesex Turnpike, will welcome all Swifties for a night-long celebration that will feature a DJ playing Swift tunes and two cocktails created in Swift's honor.

"In honor of Taylor Swift's Eras Tour, the sixth headlining concert tour by the beloved American singer-songwriter, Karma's bar staff is serving up something special for fans," Karma said in a statement.

The Lavender Haze and Miss Americana cocktails are named after Swift songs, the latter taken from the Swift song "Miss Americana & The Heartbreak Prince," and also the name of Swift's 2020 Netflix special "Miss Americana."

According to Karma, the Lavender Haze is a sparkling wine cocktail featuring colorful lavender-infused simple syrup, citrus vodka and lemon flavors. An egg white gives the cocktail a "frothy haze" on top, and there is edible glitter throughout.

The Miss Americana, meanwhile, blends Blanco tequila, French orange liqueur, and blue curaçao, with agave, yuzu juice and yuzu tabasco sauce.

"For a predominant anise and nutmeg aroma with a hint of mint, Peychaud's bitters are added to (the Miss Americana) to give it a sweet flavor," Karma said in a statement describing the drink.

Karma's full food menu, including its award-winning sushi, and drinks menu also will be available for purchase that night.

Swift is scheduled to perform on May 19, 20 and 21 at Gillette Stadium.
