Burlington Restaurant Wins ‘Best Sushi’ Award
Karma Burlington opened last year in the Burlington Mall offering a blend of Japanese, French and Peruvian cuisine.
BURLINGTON, MA — The North Shore’s best sushi is in Burlington, according to the editors of Northshore Magazine.
The publication recently announced its “Best of the North Shore” award winners, recognizing Karma Asian Fusion with an editor’s choice title. This was the second consecutive editors choice win in the annual contest for Karma.
Karma Burlington is located at 75 Middlesex Turnpike in the Burlington Mall. It opened in April of last year as the newest of four locations for the Karma chain, which also has restaurants in Concord, Westford and Andover.

The restaurants blend Japanese flavors with French and Peruvian inspired sauces, styles and other elements.
Iverson Guo is Karma’s owner and head chef, now bringing extensive training as a sushi chef to the table for local diners.
“After only being open for a little over a year, it is humbling to be acknowledged for a second time by Northshore magazine for our sushi,” Guo said of this latest honor. “Moving forward, we aim to continue to evolve and grow in the industry through sharing knowledge and experience of crafting unique, new dishes.”

Beyond sushi, Karma’s menu includes a $1 oyster happy hour every weekday, among other attractions.
The Karma space offers an outdoor patio with DJ performances on Friday and Saturday nights.
The restaurant also boasts an expansive collection of rare, top-shelf Japanese whiskey.
