Burlington Robbery Sends Man To Hospital

Police are looking into a report of a parking lot robbery in Burlington that hospitalized the victim.

BURLINGTON, MA — Police are investigating a robbery that happened near Second Avenue on Wednesday afternoon, Burlington Police Chief Thomas P. Browne said.

The victim was in a parking lot at 52 Second Avenue trying to sell a gold chain to two men in a car when one of the men grabbed the chain and the driver sped away, according to a press release by police.

The victim held onto the chain and was dragged across the parking lot and onto the street before he lost his grip, police said. The fire department took the man to a hospital nearby.
