The event will take place on Wednesday, Aug. 3 in the 3rd Ave Burlington shopping center. Hosted in partnership with Wegmans and 3rd Ave Burlington, the event will run from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The event is billed as a community celebration and an opportunity for community engagement with police personnel. Safety night will feature free hot dogs, snacks and beverages, among other attractions. Police, fire and Department of Public Works vehicles will all be on display. The event will additionally include live music and tattoo and balloon artists as well as giveaways and specials from 3rd Ave businesses.
