What's Closed, Canceled And Delayed In Burlington On Tuesday

BURLINGTON, MA -- Burlington Public Schools will be closed Tuesday. A National Weather Service winter storm warning goes into effect at 11 pm Monday and will be in place until 8 pm on Tuesday. Forecasters are calling for blizzard-like conditions and 12-18 inches of snow in the greater Boston.
Cancellations are mounting by the hour. Burlington Patch will update this article and this list as new information becomes available:
- Burlington Town Offices are closed.
- The Burlington Mall is closed today.
- The Burlington School Committee meeting scheduled for Tuesday has been tentatively rescheduled to Wednesday.
- The Board of Health, Ways & Means School Subcommittee Meeting, Bylaw Review Committee and Capital Budget scheduled for Tuesday have been canceled. See the calendar on the town Website for information on rescheduling.
- The Coalition for a Healthier Burlington meeting scheduled for Wednesday has been canceled. See the calendar on the town Website for information on rescheduling.
- Shawsheen Technical High School is closed Tuesday.
- Burlington Municipal Employees Federal Credit Union is closed on Tuesday.
- The MBTA's will operate on an "extremely reduced" schedule. More information is available on the MBTA's Web site.
- All Massachusetts courts are closed on Tuesday.
- Massachusetts RMV Service Centers are closed.
