Burlington Under Severe Thunderstorm Warning
The National Weather Service says the storm could bring 60 mile-per-hour winds and quarter-sized hail.
BURLINGTON, MA —Thunderstorms rolling across the state have prompted a severe thunderstorm warning from the National Weather Service for Burlington and surrounding areas.
The warning will remain in effect until 4:30 p.m. Forecasters have said the line of storms could bring winds up to 60 miles-per-hour while dropping quarter-sized hail on area communities.
The National Weather Service's warning took effect at 3:25 p.m., stretching from areas around Acton east toward Burlington.
