Burlington Voters Choose Planning Board Members, Weigh In On Ballot Questions

BURLINGTON, MA — Two Planning Board seats are now filled following the Town of Burlington's recent election.

Gregory Ryan and Jeremy Harrington defeated Jack Kelly to win the seats.

Ryan received 1,881 votes; Harrington was next with 1,758. Jack Kelly received 1,432 votes, according to preliminary results from the town.

The election also determined winners in several precincts for Town Meeting.

A measure to appoint the Town Clerk's position failed narrowly. The question received 1,667 "no" votes and 1,532 "yes" votes.

A measure to rescind the town's prohibition on marijuana sales also failed by a measure of 1,926 to 1,331.
