A town ban on overnight parking on public roadways is scheduled to begin on Thursday. The ban will last through April 1, prohibiting parking between the hours of 2 a.m. and 8 a.m. each morning. Astronomical winter will officially begin on Dec. 21 this year with the 2022 winter solstice. The <a href="https://www.noaa.gov/news-release/us-winter-outlook-warmer-drier-south-with-ongoing-la-nina" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration</a> in October predicted a slightly warmer than usual winter for the northeast this year. NOAA, likewise, predicted a generally average level of precipitation.
