Burlington's Weekend Weather: More Rain for the Weekend

If you have outdoor plans this weekend keep them to Saturday, because come Saturday night and through Sunday it will be raining in the area.

Here’s a look at your weekend forecast from the National Weather Service:

• Friday: Cloudy skies early followed by partly cloudy skies with a high of 71. Clear to partly cloudy Friday night with a low of 52.

• Saturday: Saturday starts out cloudy and dry, followed by increasing clouds and showers later in the day with a high of 71. Saturday night expect periods of rain, heavy at times, with a low of 56.

• Sunday: Looks like it’s going to rain all day Sunday with steady rain in the morning and showers continuing through the afternoon, high around 68. More showers will come through Sunday night before drying out overnight with a low of 56.

Next week starts off partly cloudy and warm before scattered thunderstorms are expected to roll in on Wednesday.
