Dangerous Cold, Wind Chills Saturday and Sunday
Life threatening wind chills are expected between 20 and 30 below zero, with the potential for a few locations to briefly approach 35 below.

BURLINGTON, MA - The frigid temperatures across the state this weekend, will bring with them dangerous wind chills prompting warnings from officials.
A Wind Chill Warning is in effect from 4 p.m. Saturday until noon on Sunday. Life threatening wind chills and near record cold air temperatures are expected during this time.
The Wind Chill Warning includes most of Massachusetts except for the south coast, as well as the northern half of Rhode Island and Northern Connecticut.

Wind chill readings this weekend will reach between 20 and 30 below zero, with the potential for a few locations to briefly approach 35 below, according to the National Weather Service.
The worst of the wind chills will occur Saturday night into Sunday morning.

Frost bite can come on in as little as 10 minutes in these conditions. Residents should limit outdoor exposure.
Along with the wind chill, the area will see record cold temperatures Saturday night into Sunday morning at 5 below to 5 above zero on the coast and 5 below to 15 below inland.
